The Ukrainian real estate market remains one of the most attractive sectors for large investors. A striking example is the recent deal that resulted in businessman Maksym Krippa<\/a> becoming a co-owner of the DIM development company. This is another expansion of the investment portfolio of the entrepreneur, who has invested about $100 million in the Ukrainian economy over the past two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, Maksym Krippa has already made a number of significant real estate acquisitions: his assets include the well-known Kyiv business center Parus<\/strong>, the Ukraine Hotel<\/strong>, and a luxury country estate near Kyiv<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Krippa’s strategy is built around several promising areas. In addition to real estate, he is actively investing in the highly profitable IT sectors of video game development and e-sports. In parallel, the businessman recently became the head of the Ukrainian Federation of Esports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maksym Krippa’s assets: what real estate does the businessman own in Kyiv, the suburbs and abroad<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, businessman Maksym Krippa has been actively developing his assets in the real estate segment, having completed several notable transactions in Kyiv and the region. In January 2023<\/strong>, he purchased a country estate in Kozyn<\/a>, offering UAH 311.11 million<\/strong> at an open auction, which was 60% higher than the initial price (UAH 187.63 million).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The businessman plans to set up a corporate club base for the NAVI team there, similar to the base of the Dynamo Kyiv football club. In addition, as he previously noted<\/a> in a conversation with Forbes, a premium clinic, SHA Wellness Clinic, may appear there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another landmark property, the capital’s Parus business center<\/strong>, became Maksym Krippa’s property on December 1, 2023<\/strong>. The negotiation process for this transaction lasted several months, including preliminary talks with the former owner Vadym Stolar. After the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine conducted the necessary due diligence and tax compliance checks<\/strong>, the transaction was officially cleared in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purchase price was not disclosed, but it is known that the debt obligations of the previous owner were transferred to the new owner along with the Parus business center. As Maksym Krippa explained, it was a loan of about UAH 600 million<\/strong>, which was not part of the deal’s principal value and is currently being serviced by his company. According to the businessman, the payments were spread over a year, and the deal is now fully completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was just a commercially viable deal that I couldn’t pass up,\u201d commented Krippa.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Parus has an area of 75,000 square meters<\/strong> (55,000 of which is commercial space) and is one of the tallest skyscrapers in Kyiv, with a height of over 133 meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exactly one year after this event, on November 29, 2024<\/strong>, Maksym Krippa officially closed the deal to acquire the Ukraine Hotel<\/a>, located in the heart of the capital. The auction took place back in September on the Prozorro.Sale platform, and the winner was the entrepreneur’s company Ola Fine, which offered the highest bid of UAH 2.5 billion<\/strong>. Taking into account an additional payment of UAH 500 million in VAT<\/strong>, the total transaction amount reached UAH 3 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to its major acquisitions, Krippa recently expanded its investment portfolio and became a co-owner of the well-known developer DIM<\/strong>, which will allow it to strengthen its position in the residential real estate sector in Kyiv and the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the same conversation<\/a> with Forbes, it became known that in 2016 Maksym Krippa moved to the UAE<\/strong>, seeing it as a strategic opportunity to expand his investment portfolio. According to him, the real estate market in Dubai was in a deep recession at the time, and the time to buy was extremely favorable. The difference between the prices of those years and the current value of the objects sometimes reaches 5-7 times, the entrepreneur noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, as of 2025, Maksym Krippa’s portfolio of assets in the United Arab Emirates totals more than 100 thousand square meters<\/strong> and consists of office buildings, residential complexes, development projects, and land plots that are only 15 minutes away from Dubai Mall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How a businessman invests in Ukrainian esports and game development<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Maksym Krippa has demonstrated a consistent interest in the development of Ukrainian esports and game development, supporting key projects in these areas. In 2018, he became one of the first investors in the then-young Maincast studio<\/strong>, acquiring 25% of the company. Over time, his share increased, which only strengthened the entrepreneur’s influence on the brand’s further growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That same year, Krippa turned his attention to the NAVI team<\/a>, first as a sponsor and later as a participant in negotiations to acquire the club. In 2022, he officially became the owner of this esports organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next step was the acquisition of the rights to GSC Game World in September 2023<\/a>, a studio that had been unable to complete the development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2<\/strong> for more than a decade. Krippa immediately set his priority to focus on completing the project. And on November 20, 2024<\/strong>, the game became available for download<\/strong>. As of today, Maksym Krippa owns 82% of GSC Game World shares<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth noting that the financial terms of the acquisitions of Maincast, NAVI, and GSC Game World are not disclosed. All transactions were concluded under NDAs<\/strong> (non-disclosure agreements), so the amounts remain confidential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
